              Peer Leader Summary of Eligibility:

             -  The Peer Leaders are high school students (Canadian and/or long-time Immigrants) who are interested in acquiring                                 volunteer experience and in assisting Newcomer students at their school.

             -  There is no set time requirement regarding Peer Leaders working with the student they are matched with and SWIS asks                         Peer Leaders to use their judgment regarding when assistance is needed.

              Peer Leader Summary of Outcomes:

             -  The Peer Leader will assist the student they are matched with in settling well into their new school and community.
